Kansas High School Basketball - Anderson County holds off Iola

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Anderson County Bulldogs (Garnett, KS) and the host Iola Mustangs (Iola, KS), saw Anderson County's basketball squad hold off Iola by a tally of 61-54.

With the victory, Anderson County improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Baldwin (Baldwin, KS) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Baldwin won 54-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Paola (Paola, KS)

Coming up next, the Mustangs battle the Central Heights Vikings (Richmond, KS) in a non-league battle, on Monday, December 5. Iola will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Vikings come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 35-31 non-league loss to Chase County (Cottonwood Falls, KS).
