Berwyn/Cicero Morton Mustangs (Cicero, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Willowbrook Warriors (Villa Park, IL), 69-67 in a league bout.

With the win, Berwyn/Cicero Morton upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Mustangs host Argo (Summit, IL) to play the Argonauts in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Argonauts go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Argo lost 70-45 in their recent league bout against Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL)

Next up, the Warriors play the Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 7. Willowbrook will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Redhawks go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 53-31 non-league loss to Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL).
