Texas High School Basketball - Bowie can't hold off Seguin

The Seguin Cougars basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Bowie Volunteers to 60 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwest for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Seguin will battle a Texans team coming off a 53-41 non-league loss to Sulphur Springs (Sulphur Springs, TX). The Texans record now stands at 5-5.
The Volunteers (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Shoemaker (Killeen, TX). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Shoemaker was nudged by Hutto (Hutto, TX), 76-53, in a non-league contest.
