Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Shadyside Tigers (Shadyside, OH) and the host Buckeye Local Panthers (Rayland, OH), saw Shadyside's basketball squad overcome Buckeye Local by a tally of 60-50.

With the victory, Shadyside improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Tigers host River (Hannibal, OH) to confront the Pilots in a Ohio Valley AA challenge on Friday, December 9. The Pilots come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Panthers confront the Monroe Central Seminoles (Woodsfield, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Buckeye Local will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Seminoles come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 57-56 non-league win over Shenandoah (Sarahsville, OH).
