Manchester Panthers (Akron, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Canton South Wildcats (Canton, OH), 63-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Manchester upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Northwest (Canal Fulton, OH) to play the Indians in a Principals bout on Friday, December 9. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Minerva Lions (Minerva, OH) in a Eastern Buckeye bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Canton South will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 52-36 non-league win over Tuscarawas Valley (Zoarville, OH).
