North Carolina High School Basketball - Cherryville thwarts West Lincoln

December 2, 2022: Cherryville, NC 28021

The Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC), 66-52 in Friday's non-league test.

The Ironmen (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Chase (Forest City, NC). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Chase went down by West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC), 50-44, in a non-league test.

The Rebels now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Avery County for a non-league test on Saturday, December 3. West Lincoln will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 76-62 non-league loss to Watauga (Boone, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 2-2.
