CHESS Academy Knights (Tifton, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lighthouse Christian (Valdosta, GA), 44-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, CHESS Academy upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Knights host Southwest Georgia STEM Charter (Shellman, GA) to clash with the Aggies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Aggies go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Southwest Georgia STEM Charter won 55-9 in their recent non-league bout against Furlow Charter School (Americus, GA)

Next up, the clash with the Brunswick Christian Academy Eagles (Brunswick, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Lighthouse Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
