Illinois High School Basketball - Clifton Central trounces Tri-Point

The Clifton Central Comets (Clifton, IL) basketball crushed the host Tri-Point Chargers (Cullom, IL), 92-20 in Friday's league test.

The Comets (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL). The Cornjerkers go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Hoopeston was trounced by Lexington (Lexington, IL), 72-55, in a non-league test.

The Chargers now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Iroquois West for a non-league test on Saturday, December 3. Tri-Point will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 35-34 non-league win over Ridgeview (Colfax, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 3-2.
