The Live Oak Lions basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Colusa RedHawks to 59 in the Lions non-league victory on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Williams for a non-league contest on Monday, December 5. Live Oak will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 57-56 non-league loss to Willows (Willows, CA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-1.
The RedHawks (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against West Valley (Cottonwood, CA). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, West Valley was nudged by Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, CA), 39-35, in a non-league contest.
