The Cook Hornets basketball team (Adel, GA), was overwhelmed 59-20 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Tift County Blue Devils (Tifton, GA)

The Blue Devils now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valdosta for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 3. Tift County will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 60-55 non-league win over Westover (Albany, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-1.

The Hornets (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Thomas County Central (Thomasville, GA). The Yellow Jackets come into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Thomas County Central was overwhelmed by Thomasville (Thomasville, GA), 62-45, in a non-league battle.
