The Corner Yellow Jackets (Warrior, AL) basketball knocked off the visiting Fayette County Tigers (Fayette, AL), 42-26 in Friday's non-league test.
The Yellow Jackets (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Oak Grove (Bessemer, AL). The Tigers go into the 4A Area 9 test with a 4-4 record.
The Tigers now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Oakman for a 3A Area 10 test on Monday, December 5.
