Georgia High School Basketball - Southwest DeKalb edges Druid Hills

The Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA) basketball nipped the host Druid Hills Red Devils (Atlanta, GA), 45-38 in Friday's league test.

The Panthers (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Miller Grove (Lithonia, GA). The Wolverines go into the AAAA Region 6 test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Miller Grove was tipped by Columbia (Decatur, GA), 61-29, in a non-league test.

The Red Devils now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Stone Mountain for a AAAA Region 6 test on Tuesday, December 6. Druid Hills will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 60-45 league loss to Stephenson (Stone Mountain, GA). The Pirates record now stands at 1-3.
