East Lawrence Eagles (Trinity, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lindsay Lane Christian Academy (Athens, AL), 54-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Lawrence upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Eagles host Danville (Danville, AL) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 22. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 2-4.

Next up, the clash with the Tanner Rattlers (Tanner, AL) in a 2A Area 14 bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Lindsay Lane Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Rattlers go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 49-44 non-league win over East Limestone (Athens, AL).
