The Elk Grove Grenadiers basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting Wheeling Wildcats to 63 in the Grenadiers league victory on Friday.

The Grenadiers now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hoffman Estates for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Elk Grove will battle a Hawks team coming off a 53-31 non-league win over Naperville Central (Naperville, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 5-1.

The Wildcats (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Maine East (Park Ridge, IL). The Blue Demons come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Maine East was nudged by Niles North (Skokie, IL), 71-67, in a league contest.
