The Fairfield Indians (Fairfield, OH) basketball nipped the visiting Lakota East Thunderhawks (Liberty Township, OH), 55-48 in Friday's league test.
The Indians (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Lakota West (West Chester, OH). The Firebirds go into the Greater Miami test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Lakota West got by Oak Hills (Cincinnati, OH), 55-38, in a league test.
The Thunderhawks now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Middletown for a Greater Miami test on Tuesday, December 6. Lakota East will encounter a Middies squad coming off a 64-40 league win over Hamilton (Hamilton, OH). The Middies record now stands at 1-1.
