The Ferndale Yellow Jackets basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Johnstown Christian Bluejays to 20 in the Yellow Jackets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Purchase Line for a non-league contest on Monday, December 5. Ferndale will meet a Red Dragons team coming off a 60-55 non-league loss to Marion Center (Marion Center, PA). The Red Dragons record now stands at 0-2.

The Bluejays (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Belleville Mennonite (Belleville, PA). The Thunder enter the Allegheny Christian contest with a 0-0 record.
