California High School Basketball - Shasta can't hold off Foothill

The Shasta Wolves basketball team (Redding, CA), was nudged 45-42 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Foothill Cougars (Palo Cedro, CA)

The Cougars now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Placer for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 3. Foothill will battle a Hillmen team coming off a 74-40 non-league win over Enterprise (Redding, CA). The Hillmen record now stands at 3-0.

The Wolves (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against University Prep (Redding, CA). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, University Prep edged Corning (Corning, CA), 51-25, in a non-league battle.
