Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Proviso West Panthers (Hillside, IL), 56-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Glenbard West upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Hilltoppers travel to Batavia (Batavia, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Batavia lost 44-43 in their recent league bout against Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL)

Next up, the Panthers play the Dunbar Mightymen (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Proviso West will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Mightymen go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 79-62 league loss to Catalyst-Maria (Chicago, IL).
