The Guardian Angels Central Catholic Bluejays basketball team scored 34 points and held the host Wisner-Pilger Gators to 30 in the Bluejays league triumph on Friday.
The Bluejays now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lutheran-Northeast for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Guardian Angels Central Catholic will battle a Eagles team coming off a 46-29 non-league loss to Wisner-Pilger (Wisner, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
The Gators (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Tekamah-Herman (Tekamah, NE). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Tekamah-Herman was nudged by Stanton (Stanton, NE), 62-57, in a non-league contest.
