The Howard Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Oakwood Eagles to 22 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Emerson Waldorf for a non-league contest on Monday, December 5. Howard will battle a Gnomes team coming off a 51-43 non-league loss to Commission Leadership Academy (Youngsville, NC). The Gnomes record now stands at 0-4.
The Eagles (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Northeast Academy (Lasker, NC). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Northeast Academy was routed by Southampton Academy (Courtland, VA), 52-24, in a non-league match.
