Iowa High School Basketball - Iowa Valley thwarts Tri-County

The Iowa Valley Tigers (Marengo, IA) basketball knocked off the host Tri-County Trojans (Thornburg, IA), 43-34 in Friday's league test.

The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their test against GMG (Garwin, IA). The Wolverines go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, GMG notched a victory over Meskwaki Settlement (Tama, IA), 102-13, in a league test.

The Trojans now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Belle Plaine for a South Iowa Cedar test on Tuesday, December 6.
