The Islamic Foundation Chargers basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Universal Stars to 27 in the Chargers league triumph on Friday.

The Chargers now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Horizon Science Academy-Southwest for a non-league contest on Monday, December 5. Islamic Foundation will battle a Huskies team coming off a 60-41 non-league loss to Julian (Chicago, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 0-7.

The Stars (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Muchin College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Mountain Lions enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Muchin College Prep was routed by Little Village (Chicago, IL), 40-31, in a non-league contest.
