James Island Trojans (Charleston, SC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Wando Warriors (Mt. Pleasant, SC), 62-48 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, James Island upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Berkeley (Moncks Corner, SC) to play the Stags in a non-league bout on Monday, December 5. The Stags come into the bout with a record of 1-2. Berkeley lost 50-35 in their recent non-league bout against Ashley Ridge (Summerville, SC)

Next up, the Warriors play the Bishop England Battling Bishops (Charleston, SC) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Wando will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Battling Bishops come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 52-18 non-league win over Charleston Math & Science (Charleston, SC).
