In their next game, the Pirates face the Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, KS) in a United Kansas game, on Tuesday, December 6. Piper will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.

With the defeat, Leavenworth moves to 0-1 on the year. The Pioneers host Basehor-Linwood (Basehor, KS) to face the Bobcats in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 3. The Bobcats enter the game with a record of 1-0.
