Miami Trace Panthers (Washington Courthouse, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting McClain Tigers (Greenfield, OH), 58-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, Miami Trace upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Panthers host Hillsboro (Hillsboro, OH) to play the Indians in a Frontier bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 1-3. Hillsboro lost 60-53 in their recent non-league bout against Goshen (Goshen, OH)

Next up, the Tigers play the Chillicothe Cavaliers (Chillicothe, OH) in a Frontier bout, on Tuesday, December 6. McClain will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 61-45 league loss to Washington (Washington Courthouse, OH).
