Ottawa Pirates (Ottawa, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Morris Redskins (Morris, IL), 82-20 in a league bout.

With the win, Ottawa upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Pirates travel to Kaneland (Maple Park, IL) to clash with the Knights in a Interstate Eight bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Kaneland won 56-28 in their recent non-league bout against Raby (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Redskins clash with the Sandwich Indians (Sandwich, IL) in a Interstate Eight bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Morris will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 48-41 non-league win over Richmond-Burton (Richmond, IL).
