Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Northwest Whitfield Bruins (Tunnel Hill, GA) and the host Murray County Indians (Chatsworth, GA), saw Northwest Whitfield's basketball squad hold off Murray County by a count of 72-66.

With the victory, Northwest Whitfield upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Cartersville (Cartersville, GA) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Cartersville lost 66-33 in their recent non-league challenge against East Paulding (Dallas, GA)

Next up, the Indians play the Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) in a AA Region 7 challenge, on Friday, December 9. Murray County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
