The Newman Catholic Knights basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting North Butler Bearcats to 43 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nashua-Plainfield for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 6. Newman Catholic will meet a Huskies team coming off a 60-57 league win over Northwood-Kensett (Northwood, IA). The Huskies record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, North Butler moves to 1-1 on the year. The Bearcats host Central Springs (Manly, IA) to meet the Panthers in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 6. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 0-1.
