Illinois High School Basketball - Niles Notre Dame knocked off by St. Patrick

The St. Patrick Shamrocks basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Niles Notre Dame Dons to 40 in the Shamrocks league triumph on Friday.
The Shamrocks now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Joliet Catholic for a East Suburban Catholic contest on Tuesday, December 6. St. Patrick will battle a Hilltoppers team coming off a 61-59 non-league loss to Aurora Christian (Aurora, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 3-2.
The Dons (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Marist (Chicago, IL). The RedHawks enter the East Suburban Catholic contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Marist ran past Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL), 67-58, in a league contest.
