Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the South Gallia Rebels (Crown City, OH) and the host River Valley Raiders (Bidwell, OH), saw South Gallia's basketball squad overcome River Valley by a tally of 67-59.

With the victory, South Gallia improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Rebels host Federal Hocking (Stewart, OH) to play the Lancers in a Tri-Valley II challenge on Friday, December 9. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Raiders play the Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. River Valley will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
