The West Stokes Wildcats basketball team (King, NC), was toppled 62-48 in Friday's non-league battle with the host South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC)

The Sauras now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Surry for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 6. South Stokes will confront a Greyhounds team coming off a 78-48 league win over North Wilkes (Hays, NC). The Greyhounds record now stands at 3-0.

The Wildcats (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Surry Central (Dobson, NC). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Surry Central beat Alleghany (Sparta, NC), 84-52, in a non-league battle.
