The Steeleville Warriors basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Trico Pioneers to 48 in the Warriors non-league victory on Friday.
The Warriors now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lebanon for a Cahokia - Kaskaskia contest on Tuesday, December 6.
The Pioneers (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Chester (Chester, IL). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Chester was defeated by Harrisburg (Harrisburg, IL), 52-42, in a non-league contest.
