The Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Athens Drive Jaguars (Raleigh, NC), 55-29 in Friday's non-league test.
The Wolverines (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Clayton (Clayton, NC). The Comets go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Clayton walloped Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC), 58-49, in a non-league test.
The Jaguars now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Cardinal Gibbons for a non-league test on Monday, December 5. Athens Drive will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 55-45 non-league win over Millbrook (Raleigh, NC). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-1.
