McIntosh Chiefs (Peachtree City, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Whitewater Wildcats (Fayetteville, GA), 48-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, McIntosh upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Chiefs host Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 3-2.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Troup County Tigers (LaGrange, GA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. Whitewater will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 55-42 non-league loss to Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA).
