In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Towns County Indians basketball team scored a decisive 59-33 triumph over the Andrews Wildcats.

In their next game, the Indians meet the Union County Panthers (Blairsville, GA) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 9. Towns County will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record.

With the defeat, Andrews moves to 0-2 on the year. The Wildcats host Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC) to meet the Eagles in a 1A Conference 43 match on Tuesday, December 6. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 1-1. Hiwassee Dam lost 50-45 in their recent league match against Swain County (Bryson City, NC)
