In Friday's non-league outing, the Brantley County Herons (Nahunta, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Atkinson County Rebels (Pearson, GA), by a margin of 49-15.
The Herons (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Ware County (Waycross, GA). The Gators go into the non-league outing with a 5-0 record. In their last outing, Ware County smashed Camden County (Kingsland, GA), 56-29, in a non-league outing.
