Bleckley County Royals (Cochran, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hawkinsville Red Devils (Hawkinsville, GA), 44-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bleckley County upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Royals travel to Toombs County (Lyons, GA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Toombs County lost 43-11 in their recent non-league bout against Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA)

Next up, the Red Devils clash with the Twiggs County Cobras (Jeffersonville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Hawkinsville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Cobras go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 58-24 non-league loss to Crawford County (Roberta, GA).
