    The Hatton Hornets basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Central Wildcats to 34 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Friday.

    The Hornets now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lawrence County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Hatton will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 67-25 non-league loss to Mars Hill Bible (Florence, AL). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-1.

    Next up, the Wildcats play the Wilson Warriors (Florence, AL) in a 4A Area 16 bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 53-45 non-league win over Covenant Christian (Tuscumbia, AL).
