In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Wakefield Bombers basketball team scored a good 42-22 triumph over the Centre Cougars.

In their next game, the Bombers meet the Linn Bulldogs (Linn, KS) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 6. Wakefield will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 53-50 non-league loss to Washington County (Washington, KS).

With the defeat, Centre moves to 0-1 on the year. The Cougars travel to Herington (Herington, KS) to meet the Railroaders in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 6.
