The Chippewa Valley Big Reds basketball team (Clinton Township, MI), was overwhelmed 54-12 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Port Huron Big Reds (Port Huron, MI)
The Big Reds now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Utica for a Macomb Area - White battle on Monday, December 5. Port Huron will confront a Chieftains team coming off a 58-26 non-league win over Sterling Heights Stevenson (Sterling Heights, MI). The Chieftains record now stands at 1-0.
The Big Reds (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Anchor Bay (Fair Haven, MI). The Tars come into the Macomb Area - Blue battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Anchor Bay trounced L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI), 49-44, in a league battle.
