In Friday's non-league outing, the Columbus Sailors (Waterloo, IA) basketball squad edged the host Louisa-Muscatine Falcons (Letts, IA), by a margin of 33-29.
The Sailors (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Sigourney (Sigourney, IA). The Savages go into the non-league outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Sigourney held off Keota (Keota, IA), 45-32, in a league outing.
The Falcons now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Highland for a SEI - North outing on Tuesday, December 6. Louisa-Muscatine will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 38-29 league loss to Lone Tree (Lone Tree, IA). The Huskies record now stands at 2-2.
