South Carolina High School Basketball - Crestwood topped by Sumter

The Sumter Fighting Gamecocks basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Crestwood Knights to 31 in the Fighting Gamecocks non-league victory on Friday.

The Fighting Gamecocks now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakewood for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6.

The Knights (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Stall (Charleston, SC). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Stall prevailed over Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC), 60-28, in a non-league contest.
