Dominican Knights (Whitefish Bay, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host The Prairie School Hawks (Racine, WI), 40-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Dominican upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Knights travel to Shoreland Lutheran (Somers, WI) to play the Pacers in a Metro Classic bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Pacers go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Shoreland Lutheran won 48-36 in their recent league bout against Catholic Central (Burlington, WI)

Next up, the Hawks play the St. Catherine's Angels (Racine, WI) in a Metro Classic bout, on Wednesday, December 7. The Prairie School will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Angels go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 60-57 league loss to St. Joseph (Kenosha, WI).
