The Emerson Mavericks basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Turner Lions to 9 in the Mavericks non-league victory on Friday.

The Mavericks now sport a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Concordia Lutheran for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Emerson will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 43-19 non-league loss to Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX). The Crusaders record now stands at 6-5.

The Lions (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Ponder (Ponder, TX). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Ponder was routed by Anna (Anna, TX), 61-20, in a non-league contest.
