Texas High School Basketball - Furr knocked off by Wheatley

December 2, 2022: Houston, TX 77013

The Wheatley Wildcats basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Furr Brahmans to 37 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Pius X for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Wheatley will meet a Panthers team coming off a 51-25 non-league loss to Episcopal (Bellaire, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 1-8.

The Brahmans (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against North Forest (Houston, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 4A Region III District 21 contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, North Forest was outscored by Nimitz (Houston, TX), 44-21, in a non-league contest.
