The Geffen Academy Bruins (Los Angeles, CA) basketball crushed the host New Roads Jaguars (Santa Monica, CA), 64-24 in Friday's league test.
The Bruins (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Avalon (Avalon, CA). The Lancers go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Avalon was trounced by Quartz Hill (Quartz Hill, CA), 58-18, in a non-league test.
The Jaguars now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Arlington for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 6. New Roads will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 29-19 non-league loss to Gladstone (Covina, CA). The Lions record now stands at 1-3.
