Georgia High School Basketball - Sonoraville trounces Gilmer

The Sonoraville Phoenix (Calhoun, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA), 51-20 in Friday's non-league test.
The Phoenix (5-0) will now prepare for their test against Unity Christian (Rome, GA). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Unity Christian was trounced by Pepperell (Lindale, GA), 48-39, in a non-league test.
The Bobcats now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to North Hall for a non-league test on Saturday, December 3. Gilmer will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 47-46 non-league loss to North Oconee (Bogart, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-1.
