Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Niles West Wolves (Skokie, IL), 30-20 in a league bout.

With the win, Glenbrook North upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Spartans host Northside (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 7-0. Northside won 37-34 in their recent league bout against Westinghouse (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Wolves clash with the Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Niles West will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 42-30 league win over Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL).
