Rochester Rockets (Rochester, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Glenwood Titans (Chatham, IL), 34-20 in a league bout.

With the victory, Rochester upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to MacArthur (Decatur, IL) to play the Generals in a Central State Eight bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Generals come into the bout with a record of 3-5. MacArthur won 62-41 in their recent league bout against Normal University (Normal, IL)

Next up, the Titans play the Highland Bulldogs (Highland, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Glenwood will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 7-1 record after their 49-45 league win over Mascoutah (Mascoutah, IL).
