The Grundy Golden Wave (Grundy, VA) basketball felled the visiting Mountain Mission Challengers (Grundy, VA), 75-65 in Friday's non-league test.
The Golden Wave (1-0) will now prepare for their test against J.I. Burton (Norton, VA). The Black Raiders go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, J.I. Burton was beaten by Richlands (Richlands, VA), 60-50, in a non-league test.
The Challengers now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Richlands for a non-league test on Thursday, December 8.
